Utah Field House of Natural History State Park Museum in Vernal Utah

Don't let the plain exterior fool you, the Field House of Natural History State Park Museum in Vernal Utah  is lots of fun. The 22,000 square foot museum has exhibits both inside and out.
One of my favorite things and has been a favorite since I was little, is the life size dinosaur garden. My son loved this part too! The garden has 17 full sized replicas.

The Natural History State Park Museum is full of interactive exhibits that both children and adults will love.

We loved the wall of fossils.

  1. We just went to the Field House this past spring and loved it. They have a Geocache hidden inside. You have to go through and answer a questions from each room (& outside display) and show the front desk your answers then they give you the last clue and each kid got to pick a souvenir prize out of the geocache box. It was a great way to explore the museum.
