Bruges, the popular Belgian waffle and fry (frites) restaurant downtown Salt Lake City recently opened an additional location in Sugar House.
Bruges Waffles and Frites offers a simple menu of it’s classic Belgian Leige waffles and frites, along with a specialty Belgian burger and amazing dipping sauce mayos.
Take a look at this list of Mayos. I tried the popular Andalouse sauce and loved the pops of pepper taste.
I’ve eaten there several times now and plan to keep going back. I enjoyed the rich Belgian hot chocolate, Leige waffle with cream and strawberries, burger and frites. Next time I’m going to try the torpedo waffle that has two sticks of Belgian chocolate in between two Liege waffles.
Bruges is perfect for brunch but I also enjoyed lunch there. You can order at the counter or walk-up window from outside. They have a few tables inside, and out, making it a great place to meet a friend for a quick bite.
