New Splash Pad and Park in North Salt Lake

This summer a new park and splash pad opened in North Salt Lake.  The Legacy Regional Park is one of our new favorite parks. The splash pad is equipped with changing rooms, bathrooms and outdoor showers.
The free splash pad is open through Labor day, Monday - Saturday 10am to 8pm and Sunday 12 to 6pm.

The park has numerous pavilions, a playground and soccer fields.

This is a great way to beat the heat these last few days of summer.  And it doesn't get better than free!

  1. Thank you for this post. The Olympic fountain was closed today and I googled "Splash pad" and your post came up. You made me (and three little girls) very happy.

  2. Similar to Janice - I googled splash pad in NSL and your post came up! Thanks!!

  3. Um........ Even with gps this place does not exist. I am not sure if this is someone's idea of a sick joke or what, but a van with 6 kids a gps that took us exactly to address and there was nothing there but an industrial park!

    1. We are sorry you had a hard time finding the splash park. We found that Mapquest doesn't pull up the accurate location. We have updated a link to the splash pad using Google Maps.

  4. Thanks! You are the ONLY place on the internet that I could find that listed the hours of operation of the splash pad.

  5. This cute park is located in the Foxboro North subdivision. Enter the sub at 1100 N and Redwood Rd. Head towards the freeway, no turns. You'll see the park at the end of the street. Note: The splash pad runs on a 45 min timer and shuts off for 15 mins. So if you arrive and the water is off, don't worry. It will turn on again soon.

  6. When does the splash pad open for the summer?

  7. Does anyone know if the water is drinkable? And is it recycled though the splash pad? Just curious, and also keep wondering if I should stop my kiddo from drinking it.
